Alleva Enzio Architectes was founded in 2001 by Enzio Alleva, an architect who graduated from the Innsbruck School of Architecture. In 2017, Alex Welscher, also an architect, joined as a partner and to head the firm with Enzio Alleva. The team has grown over time, and today more than fifteen employees work for the firm.
With offices in Pétange, in southern Luxembourg, the practice handles projects for both personal and professional clients.
The architectural practice, with more than 400 projects to its credit, has demonstrated its expertise in designing, planning and delivering a very wide range of projects in different fields
• individual homes
• residential and commercial blocks
• industrial and administrative buildings
• sports and cultural centres
• eco-friendly, low-energy buildings
• school buildings and childcare centres
• conversion and renovation, town planning, residential estates and P.A.P. special development plans
• energy performance certification and vertical registry
The whole team is also involved in preparing applications for submissions to national and international architectural design competitions.
A New Architectural Concept
The transformation of the Alleva Architectes offices took place over several years and was finished late June 2017. The building currently has a net surface area of 520 m2 and around 25 work stations. The whole outer building is clad with a metal facade made from perforated aluminium which provides the key element for the building and stands in contrast to its interior where touches of colour and design objects are interspersed.
The walls of the offices are adorned with murals both inside and outside.
This renovation was undertaken so that the building could house more employees and provide clients with a complete range of architectural services.
To guarantee that excellent services are provided in each of the areas where he works, Enzio Alleva decided to set up three new companies by forming partnerships with several of its long-time collaborators. URBA, INTRA and PALEA are now all three based within the premises of Alleva Enzio Architectes, in Pétange.
