Die World Habitat Awards würdigen und zeichnen innovative, herausragende und manchmal revolutionäre Wohnideen, Projekte und Programme aus aller Welt aus. Im Laufe der Jahre wurden mehr als 360 herausragende World Habitat Awards-Projekte ausgezeichnet, die zu einer wesentlichen und dauerhaften Verbesserung der Lebensbedingungen beigetragen haben.
Jedes Jahr erhalten zwei Gewinner jeweils 10.000 £ und eine Trophäe, die im Rahmen einer globalen Veranstaltung von UN-Habitat überreicht werden.
Competition assignment
The World Habitat Awards recognise and highlight innovative, outstanding and sometimes revolutionary housing ideas, projects and programmes from across the world. More than 360 outstanding World Habitat Awards projects have been recognised over the years, demonstrating substantial, lasting improvements in living conditions.
Each year two winners receive £10,000 each and a trophy, presented at a global UN-Habitat event.

Anyone representing or collaborating on an innovative project in the field of housing is welcome to enter: individuals, NGOs, public institutions, private initiatives, academia, United Nations programmes, etc.
