Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Der Buildner's Unbuilt Award 2024 ist eine große Auszeichnung für architektonische Kreativität und Innovation, mit der die Brillanz nicht realisierter Entwürfe gewürdigt werden soll. Er würdigt den tiefgreifenden Wert des kreativen Prozesses und feiert Ideen und Visionen, die zwar nicht realisiert wurden, aber den Sinn für architektonische Erkundung und Erfindungsgabe verkörpern. Dieser Wettbewerb würdigt den kreativen Weg von Architekten und Designern und bietet eine Bühne für Ideen, die Grenzen überschreiten und die Zukunft gestalten.

Teilnehmer sind eingeladen, ihre Arbeiten einzureichen, wobei sie ihrer Kreativität und ihren Visionen uneingeschränkt freien Lauf lassen können. Ganz gleich, ob es sich um Entwürfe handelt, die noch nicht realisiert wurden, um detaillierte Pläne, die auf ihre Umsetzung warten, oder um konzeptionelle Ideen, die Anerkennung suchen - alle Formen von nicht realisierten Projekten sind willkommen.

Die Einreichungen werden in die Kategorien klein, mittel und groß eingeteilt, damit jedes Projekt die Anerkennung erhält, die es verdient. Ziel von Buildner ist es, das unglaubliche Potenzial dieser unfertigen Entwürfe zu zeigen und die Vorstellungskraft und das Engagement von Architekten und Designern zu würdigen, die nach Innovation und Exzellenz streben.

Christele Harrouk, Editor-in-Chief of ArchDaily, drives inclusive editorial direction, highlighting underrepresented areas and empowering women in architecture;
Francine Houben, Founding Partner and Creative Director of Mecanoo, creates context-driven designs across scales, including iconic projects like the Library of Birmingham;
Michael Meredith, Associate Dean at Princeton University and co-founder of MOS, combines academic leadership with award-winning architectural practice;
Lyndon Neri, co-founder of Neri&Hu, leads interdisciplinary design across Shanghai, Milan, and Paris while shaping architectural education globally
