Offener, internationaler Wettbewerb mit vorge- schaltetem Auswahlverfahren für 4 Teilnehmer
Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Für ein neues Tourismuszentrum auf dem ca. 800 m hohen Kozila Plateau sollen städtebauliche und architektonische Konzepte entwickelt werden. Das Gebiet von 383 ha liegt am Fuße des Berges Klekovaca und kann ganzjährig genutzt werden. Die Langzeitplanung über 12 Jahre wird in 3 Phasen aufgeteilt, die jeweils die Anlagen für das Skiplateau, Hotels und Jugendherbergen, Chalets, Häuser mit Apartments, Wohnkomplexe für die Angestellten, Sportzentrum, Verwaltung etc. und in der dritten Phase noch ein 5-Sterne Golfhotel umfassen. Der Komplex soll nachhaltig geplant werden mit möglichst wenig Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und Nutzung von alternativen Energien.
Competition assignment
Urban and architectural design solutions shall be obtained for the new tourist centre on 383 ha on the Kozial Plateau, at the foot of Klekovaca Mountain. The long-term development shall be divided in 3 phases, each consisting of skiing plateau facilities, hotels, hostels, chalets, apartments, residential staff complex, sports complex etc. and a 5-star golf hotel in phase 3. The design shall focus on sustainability and minimal impact on the environment.

Klekovaca Competition 2014

Aufgabe: The purpose of the Competition is to obtain the preliminary urban and architectural design for the future urban zone of the Klekovaca Tourist Centre on Klekovaca Mountain. Klekovaca Mountain is located in the western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and belongs to the central part of the Dinaric Arc - Southeast Europe region. Its highest peak is Velika Klekovaca (1.962 m) and it stretches in a north-westerly to southeasterly direction, covering a distance of 43 km.The competition site is a part of the larger complex of the Klekovaca Tourist Centre. It is located at the foot of the Klekovaca Mountain, on the Kozila Plateau, at 805 to 895 metres above sea level, covering an area of 383ha with a planned accommodation capacity of about 15,000 beds.The wider complex of the Klekovaca Tourist Centre includes an additional area of 2,250 ha where winter and summer tourist facilities are planned (mountain ethno-village, Alpine and Nordic ski slopes, snowboard parks, adrenalin parks etc.), which are not within the scope of this Competition.
