II.2.4) Description of the procurement:
Bergen municipality extends an invitation to a limited planning and design contest prior to the zoning of Bybanen to Åsane. The competition comprises urban spaces from Torget to Bryggen.
The general objective is to highlight systems that provide the best possible integration of the urban rail, ensure the cultural environment and ensure accessible and attractive urban spaces with good premises for vital urban life. Bergen municipality wants to use this competition to gain competence from a broad professional environment and there will be requirements pertaining to the team composition that it is with a Wildcard Office.

The competition proposals will be evaluated after an overall assessment based on how the proposal has responded to the competition task in the Competition Program chapter. 5 The contest assignment and how it contributes to building the ambition formulated in the tender documentation programme chapter. 2 Ambitions for the area surrounding Vågen.
In addition, emphasis will be placed on feasibility, with particular focus on the following:
— future oriented and robust systems
— technical feasibility,
— consequences for operation and management,
— possibility of step by step development.
