JURY
The international jury, consisting of a dozen prominent European figures from a range of professional backgrounds, will meet on 19 and 20 June 2020 under the presidency of Maurice Culot. The final list of jury members will be posted on the website www.rotthierprize.be. The results will be announced in the press and candidates will be notified by email.

The jury will be particularly attentive to works that:
- Are locally based and are not interchangeable
- Seek to integrate rural and urban contexts and to avoid dislocation and provocation
- Make maximum possible use of natural materials and traditional and ecological methods
- Take into account local practices and customs
- Generate public spaces recognisable by all (streets, paths, avenues, squares, etc.)
- Favour a mixity of activities and limited mechanical circulation
- Reject social segregation in favour of mixed use buildings in which social housing is imperceptibly integrated
- Use land economically and the countryside sparingly

PRIZE
An amount of 35 000 euros, possibly split between several entries, is being made available to the jury by the prize founder, Philippe Rotthier.

PRIZEWINNERS, EXHIBITION AND PUBLICATION
The prize-giving ceremony will take place on Saturday 17 October 2020 in the presence of the prizewinners and prominent European personalities. It will be followed by the inauguration of the exhibition of the prizewinning and mentioned works. These will also be included in a catalogue. A touring version of the exhibition is available on request.
