Open international architectural design project competition with two stages
Wettbewerbsaufgabe / Competition Assignment
Following a decision by ITU Council, ITU held an international architecture competition for the design of a new headquarters building to be constructed at its current location in Geneva, Switzerland. Construction of the new building will start in 2020, with the opening towards the end of 2023.
More than 90 submissions were received from entrants in 15 countries.
The competition was open to all professional architects duly registered in an ITU Member State. It was held in two rounds, judged anonymously by an international jury, and was guided by Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA) norm SIA-142.
