Das LAKE HOUSE wird als Clubhaus in den Bergen dienen, das all jenen Reisenden, die gerne Wintertourismus erleben, als Ort der Zuflucht und der Kontemplation dient.

In den Hochgebirgsregionen und den Städten in der Nähe der Pole ist der Wintertourismus mehr als eine Notwendigkeit, sondern eine Alternative, die mit der Suche des Menschen nach starken Emotionen und Abenteuern in einer natürlichen Umgebung zusammenhängt. In der Regel geht es um die Ausübung von Sport im Schnee und in der Kälte oder einfach darum, sich zu entspannen und die spektakuläre Aussicht auf die verschneite Landschaft zu genießen. Ziel ist es daher, diese Bedürfnisse mit einem Projekt zu befriedigen, das Schutz, Geborgenheit und Kontemplation bietet, bevor man sich auf den Weg ins Abenteuer begibt.

Das Lake House wird als Clubhaus konzipiert, das als Zwischenstation in den Bergen für all jene Sportler oder Reisenden fungiert, die einen komfortablen oder kontemplativen Raum zum Ausruhen benötigen, bevor sie ihren Weg in die Schweizer Alpen fortsetzen. Es kann sich auf dem Festland oder am Ufer des St. Moritzersees befinden. Es wird als Cafeteria, Bar und Spa fungieren und über verschiedene Tagungsräume verfügen, wobei die Aussicht auf die Landschaft im Vordergrund steht. Die architektonische Form muss subtil und zeitlos sein und sich sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter an die natürliche Umgebung anpassen können.

Das Gebäude muss so konzipiert sein, dass es den Auswirkungen der Zeit standhält und leicht zu pflegen ist. Der Entwurf soll sich in die Umgebung einfügen, die Auswirkungen gering halten und der natürlichen Landschaft jederzeit Vorrang einräumen.

The LAKE HOUSE will serve as a mountain clubhouse that functions as a space of shelter and contemplation for all those travelers who enjoy experiencing winter tourism.

In highland areas and cities near the poles, winter tourism, more than a necessity, is presented as an alternative that is related to a human search for strong emotions and adventures in a natural environment. It usually focuses on the practice of sports in the snow and cold or simply the fact of relaxing and enjoying spectacular views of the snowy landscape. In view of this, the aim is to satisfy these needs with a project that offers shelter, security and contemplation, before continuing on the path to adventure.

The Lake House will be conceptualized as a clubhouse that functions as a mountain stopover for all those athletes or simply travelers who require a comfortable or contemplative space to rest before continuing on their way to the Swiss Alps. It can be located on dry land or on the shore of Lake St. Moritz. It will function as a cafeteria, bar, spa and will have various meeting spaces, prioritizing views of the landscape. Its architectural form must be subtle and timeless, able to adapt to the natural context in summer and winter.

It must be designed as a construction that can withstand the effects of time and be easy to maintain. The design is intended to be integrated into the context, to be of low impact and to give priority to the natural landscape at all times.
