The aim of the competition is to acquire the most adequate professional solution for the new, multi-purpose building of the cultural and administrative centre Ivančna Gorica, which will house the new spaces of the municipal administration, a library and a cultural centre with a hall. The basement level is intended for public parking garage. The new building is located in a direct vicinity of the existing municipal building – in an exposed area in the central part of the city. The new cultural and administrative centre is to be introduced to the existing area as best as possible; it should have an appropriate, functional, architectural and design image, and it should be a nearly zero-energy building.
