Wettbewerbsaufgabe
As part of MADEexpo Milano Architettura Design Edilizia Federlegno Arredo S.r.l. is promoting a contest that is calling for submissions of ideas that will complement social housing development,
present and future, by building a catalogue of architecture that is sensitive to the environment and the territory, sustainability and the needs of wellness and the quality of life of man.
InstantHouse Social Club calls for the design of a small service-oriented structure that represents an alternative to the temporary and fluid condition of the contemporary urban landscape.
The key theme of the contest is to create a network of services located along the Vie d'Acqua, envisioned by Expo 2015. This system can represent an opportunity to enrich the city, create flows of different people (from the areas of the city surrounding the sites crossed by the Vie d’Acqua) and welcome residents, visitors, tourists to the city (who will be attracted by the unusually high concentration of services).
