Die Denver Affordable Housing Challenge ist ein internationaler Architekturwettbewerb, der von AIA Colorado, der Stadt und dem Bezirk Denver sowie Buildner organisiert wird. Als 19. Ausgabe der Buildner Affordable Housing Challenge-Reihe untersucht der Wettbewerb, wie Erschwinglichkeit und herausragendes Design in Einklang gebracht werden können, um innovative, hochwertige Wohnlösungen zu schaffen, die auf die spezifischen Gegebenheiten in Denver zugeschnitten sind.

Während die Erschwinglichkeit von Wohnraum nach wie vor eines der drängendsten Probleme der Stadt ist – verschärft durch Bevölkerungswachstum, wirtschaftlichen Druck und demografische Veränderungen –, ruft diese Initiative Architekten, Designer und Stadtplaner dazu auf, visionäre Lösungen vorzuschlagen, die über die Erfüllung grundlegender Wohnbedürfnisse hinausgehen. The Denver Affordable Housing Challenge is an international architecture competition organized by AIA Colorado, the City and County of Denver, and Buildner.
