Aufgabe
2.0 WATT ideas is a competition that encourages the development of design proposals on the reuse of abandoned spaces of Zerowatt factory and on its transformation, in step with the requests arisen during the participatory planning.
The competition aims to define a vision for a future structure and reuse of the area.
The design has to achieve the following goals:
- Define a new set of building volumes currently non-existent in the area, predicting possible demolitions
- Define a new relationship between the area and the creek Nesa
- Reconfigure the accesses to the area, in order to promote integration with the urban surroundings
- Generate new public spaces (e.g. squares, green areas, park facilities, etc..)
- Hypothesise a functional layout that takes into account the information received during the partecipatory planning
- Focus on one of the functions, via examples
