Unser erster jährlicher Design-Wettbewerb zeigt kanadische Design-Innovationen von Studenten im Bereich des modularen Bauens, der Fertigbauweise, der Plattenbauweise und anderer Arten des Off-Site-Bauens. Der Wettbewerb wird vom Off-site Construction Research Centre veranstaltet, einer Forschungsgruppe, die sich mit der Optimierung alternativer Lösungen zum Bau vor Ort beschäftigt.
Ziel dieses Wettbewerbs ist es, Studenten mit dem Off-Site-Bauens vertraut zu machen, Innovationen anzuregen und die interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit zu fördern. Darüber hinaus wird der Wettbewerb die vielen potenziellen Vorteile des Off-Site-Bauens aufzeigen, darunter Kosteneinsparungen, kürzere Bauzeiten, höhere Sicherheit und bessere Bauqualität.
Competition assignment
Our first annual design competition showcases Canadian student design innovation in modular, prefabricated, panelized, and other types of off-site construction. The competition is presented by the Off-site Construction Research Centre, a research group dedicated to optimizing alternate solutions to on-site construction.
The objective of this competition is to introduce students to off-site construction, inspire innovation, and to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration. Additionally, the competition will showcase the many potential benefits to off-site construction including, cost savings, reduced construction timelines, improved safety, and improved construction quality.

Submission: Sunday, June 6 (11:59 p.m. EST)
Winners announced: Friday, July 16
Prizes
First prize: $2,500
Second prize: $1,000
Third prize: $500
Honourable mentions: (Fourth to tenth place)
