Urban-architectural design of Block A1, as part of the first phase of implementation of the “Velje Brdo” residential development , Podgorica / Montenegro

The subject of the competition is the development of an conceptual urban-architectural design for Block A1, as part of the first phase of implementation of the “Velje Brdo” residential development, with a total area of 61,356 m², located on a portion of cadastral plot no. 387/1 within the cadastral municipality of Velje Brdo. In addition, the subject of the competition includes the preparation of a conceptual design for a secondary road tha serves the Block A1, which will provide access to the site from the main “Velje Brdo” Boulevard.

 

The aim of the competition is to select the highest-quality, clearly legible and plan-verified conceptual urban-architectural design for Block A1, i.e. a solution that can be directly applied in the planning document and enable phased and cost-effective implementation. Accordingly, the conceptual urban-architectural design for Block A1 obtained through this competition will become an integral part of the Spatial and Urban Plan of the Capital City of Podgorica.

 

Any individual or legal entity who meets the requirements defined by the Competition Announcement and the Competition Brief has the right to participate in the Competition.

Individuals residing or legal entities with registered office in the territory of Montenegro or any other country can participate in the Competition.

 

Deadline for submission of entries: March 31st 2026, until 12:00h (Montenegrin local time)
