The Prix Claude Parent has been created to reward an architect or team whose architectural practice and philosophy demonstrate a desire to rethink architecture in a transgressive, critical or pioneering manner.

 

Inspired by Claude Parent's constant will to question architecture in its foundations,to research and experiment with an alternative architectural scenario, this biennial international prize aims to reward active architects whose work opens new fields for this discipline, following in the footsteps of the architect of the Oblique and in the spirit of innovation and imagination he championed. These architects bring something fundamentally innovative, revolutionary, or visionary, whatever their area of ​​architectural exploration.

 

Entries may be submitted by an architect (or an architectural firm) or a multidisciplinary team. Multidisciplinary teams must include at least one architect (or architectural firm) to be eligible.

 

Opening date for applications: December 5, 2025

Closing date for applications: March 31, 2026

Announcement of winners and Award ceremony: June 15, 2026
