About the Award
Since 2016, the International Water Mist Association (IWMA) bestows an award to promote young talents. The title of this award in 2022 will be:
“IWMA Young Talent Award / Master”
The prize is awarded once a year. The prize itself will include:
- An invitation to the annual international water mist conference
- A slot to present the thesis
- Travel and accommodation expenses
- A prize money of 1000.00 €
- One year free IWMA membership (starting on the day of the presentation of the award)
In 2022, the best master thesis will be rewarded!
Schedule
The schedule for the 21st International Water Mist Conference:
12th January 2022: Publication of the call for papers
12th January 2022: Sponsors and honorary sponsors can start booking their tabletops for the exhibition
29th April 2022: Deadline for submissions for the IWMA Young Talent Award (master thesis)
16th May 2022: Deadline for the submissions of abstracts for the conference
16th May 2022: Activation of the conference webpage
16th June 2022: Notification of speakers about acceptance
30th June 2022: Announcement of the winner of the IWMA Young Talent Award
1st July 2022: Publication of the conference programme
15th August 2022: End of the early bird period (during which delegates can profit from special prices)
2nd November 2022: final versions of presentations due
8th November 2022: IWMA member meeting
9th & 10th November 2022: 21st International Water Mist Conference at the Elba Madrid Alcalá Hotel
