Through this satirical theme, the competition aims to foster a critical reflection on the concept of a „house“ for a dictator, inviting participants to explore, with creativity and irony, how architecture can challenge conventions and offer new perspectives...

 

Participants are invited to explore the meaning of inhabiting absolute power, designing a house that embodies control, domination, and isolation, while reflecting something universal and relatable.

 

The challenge is to create a space that philosophically and emotionally interprets domination, redefining the idea of “home” as a symbol of oppression, protection, and recognition.

 

We encourage bold and innovative designs that go beyond traditional architecture to reflect the psychological and emotional dynamics of power. There are no limits in geography, materials, or techniques.

 

This is not just an architectural solution but a thought-provoking exploration of the balance between strength and fragility, oppression and vulnerability.

 

Any direct religious, political, or sexual overtones will result in exclusion from the competition.
