About the Competition
London Festival of Architecture and The Fitzrovia Partnership have launched Find Fitzrovia, a new design competition to encourage wayfinding across the footprint. This competition comes in the third year of a four-year initiative between both organisations.
The competition is open to emerging architects, designers and artists to create a playful trail of visual markers that make it easier and more enjoyable to navigate to Charlotte Street and other more hidden destinations within the area.
The wider four-year initiative tests temporary interventions across The Fitzrovia Partnership’s footprint. The aim is to explore how the neighbourhood can be shaped for the future to better serve both people and the planet.

Submissions closed: 12:00, Tuesday 13th January
Successful shortlisted teams notified: w/c 19th January
Site visit with shortlisted teams: 10:00-12:00, Tuesday 27th January
LFA2026 in Fitzrovia Briefing: Afternoon, Tuesday 27th January
Round 2 submission deadline: 12:00, Tuesday 24th February
Final judging / interviews: w/c 2nd March
Winner notified: w/c 9th March
Design & Build: March – May
Project Install: 30th – 31st May
