Purpose
Development Concept for Gorky Central Park in Krasnoyarsk, Russia

Objective
Open International Competition for development concept of Gorky Central Park in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Krasnoyarsk is one of Russian major million-person cities, famous as one of the leading cultural, educational, economic and industrial cities of Siberia. The city is located on the banks of the Yenisey river, one of the longest and mighty rivers in the world.

In Soviet times the park was considered one of the best in Siberia. The goal of the competition is to attract the world‘s best architects to the transformation of a landmark place. A large-scale international project will give a new impetus to the development not only of the park itself, but also of the city as a whole.

Open International Two-stage Competition

Participants
Among the participants of the competition are companies engaged in urban development and planning, public space development, architecture and design, which have been operating in the Russian Federation and capable of bringing to their team professionals in economics, finances and content programming.

The competition begins. Press-conference: 11 August 2020
Introductory webinar for participants of the competition: 08 September 2020
Application submission closes: 24 September 2020
Jury meeting. Selection of the finalists: 06 October 2020
Orientation seminar for the finalists: 28 – 29 October 2020
Concept submission closes: 01 December 2020
Final jury meeting. Selection of the winner: 15 December 2020

Prize Fund
The three finalists selected to create development concepts will be awarded 900 000 rubles each, including all the taxes and fees.

Following the second Jury meeting, the finalists will receive an additional payment according to their ranking place:
1st place – 1 800 000 rubles;
2nd place – 1 000 000 rubles;
3rd place – 500 000 rubles.
