Organizers
Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property, Montenegro
About the Competition
The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property has announced a national competition for the Conceptual Architectural Design of the „Oktoih“ Elementary School Pavilion in Podgorica.
The competition aims to select the best conceptual architectural design for the construction of a new school facility - the „Oktoih“ Elementary School Pavilion on UP13, with the arrangement of the existing schoolyard on UP12 in Podgorica. This is planned within the scope of the Detailed Urban Plan „Residential Community VII - Old Town - Amendments and Supplements“ (Official Gazette of Montenegro – municipal regulations no. 51/16).
The competition entries are expected to, by considering the existing urban values of both the narrower and wider location, spatial-urban and architectural-constructional characteristics, enhance the visual identity of the block and provide an optimally functional solution for the planned program content.
Eligibility
Participants in the competition must have residence or headquarters in Montenegro, with at least one of the authors of the competition entry (individual or team leader) being a licensed architect. The author or team leader may engage experts from other professions to enhance the competition solution (preferably, a team member should be a graduate landscape architect).
